This is amazing. So much emotion! It has characteristics that contradict themselves in so many ways. Battered friends indeed! I can't help but have sympathy for them both. This picture also seems to wrap up the technological and traditional lifestyle of today's society very nicely. Well done.
< And now what you've been waiting for. . . . owo "Colors of the rainbow shine so bright, and everytime I look into your eyes, *fading away* it's the colors of the rainbow that. . . . . . ." < Judges what do you have to say? < THAT WAS AWESOME! <OH MY GOD THAT WAS COMPLETELY BY ACCIDENT! < EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE < Well, 100 points for you.
I'm actually curious about the cell phone... never seen a person this old texting, which has nothing wrong, just curious at how did he learned to and what he thinks about it. Is a beautiful really peculiar photo, congrats on the DD!
that's interesting. his cone looks like the phonograph of the original image (hmv). so aspects of the original are re-contextualized in your version (with another addition of the phone- an aural contraption). great idea using that title.
Beautiful capture. That poor dog looks so ashamed and embarrassed and pops looks so confused. I can almost hear him saying "dab blasted contraption! I just want to call a darned number... what's this MMS thing???"
It immediately brings to mind the old Victrola machine with the bell and the dog standing near it. Also, it seems incongruous to see this old pair reminiscent of the past around the 30's or so then note the man's using a cell phone ... almost a time travel moment, don't you think? LOL
